Club work is on a voluntary basis, with members participating in activities of personal interest. All members, however, participate in all fund-raising events. 2007 will be the 46th year for the Art & Foliage Festival, our main fund raiser.
 

In the past 49 years, the GFWC Apopka Woman's Club has contributed tens of thousands of dollars and tens of thousands of man-hours to the community and the General Federation and Florida Federation projects. Some of these projects are Habitat for Humanity, Canine Companions, Operation Smile and Special Olympics, just to name a few. In addition, the Club awards scholarships to Apopka High School seniors as well as special scholarships to adults who have the desire to continue their education in the pursuit of improving their life.
